Hi my name is Sheree Scott

Allow me to introduce myself and provide
background information, which will hopefully allow
you to get to know me better.

Personal Information
I am a wife of 37 years to a wonderful man who just happened
to be my high school sweetheart. From this union we produced a
beautiful daughter and a very "sports ambitious" son.
My son has provided us with the opportunity to spoil a
precious granddaughter and a potential "NFL" grandson.
I have lived in the Northern Virginia area for the past 37
years and my hobbies are reading and traveling.

Summary
I spent 33 years working in various positions within the
Telecommunications Industry
(C&P, AT&T, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya).
In 2001 I retired from Avaya and began to really enjoy life.

Professional Experience
I began my career as a Clerk Typist for
C&P Telephone Company in 1970. Within six months I
was promoted to an Engineering Drawing Clerk responsible for
designing outside plant (underground cable) layouts
for various subdivisions within the Northern Virginia Area.
After a 2 year stint as an Executive Secretary I moved
into management where I spent the next 11 years in
various positions as an Educational Instructor for the
Northeast Region that extended from Southeast Virginia to Maine.
My responsibilities included setting up 3 major training centers
in Maryland, New Jersey, and Boston where external clients
and employees were educated onvarious types of telecommunications
equipment as well as writing and updating course material.
Further advancement was manifested when I accepted a position
as Manager of a contract that provided national
support to the Army National Guard with direct reports.
This is where my career as a telecommunications guru ended
with my retirement in July, 2001.

Selected Accomplishments
During my 33 year employment history I received
numerous awards, plaques, and trophies in recognition
of my outstanding performance as and individual and
as a team member. I earned 6 out of 7 incentive trips to
(Las Vegas (2), Hawaii (2), San Diego,
and Orlando) as a reward for a job well done. I received my
Project Management Certificate from George
Washington University.
